Dr. Schwartz, our Chief of Staff, is from south central Pennsylvania and now resides in Burlington, Massachusetts. She completed her undergraduate studies at The Ohio State University and received a DVM degree from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, where she graduated with highest honors. Following graduation, she completed a small animal emergency/critical care internship in Waltham and fell in love with New England.
Dr. Schwartz's professional interests include emergency medicine, integrative medicine, internal medicine, and soft tissue surgery. She is certified in veterinary acupuncture and can provide integrative modalities when needed to achieve a better quality of life for your pets for various medical conditions — including musculoskeletal pain and arthritis, gastrointestinal disorders, endocrine disfunction, and many other chronic or terminal diseases. But above all, she looks forward to building a trustworthy relationship with her clients and patients and wishes to continue to offer the best wellness and preventative care for a long lasting, fulfilling human-animal bond.
Dr. Schwartz has two dogs, “Mush” (Boston Terrier) and “Mica” (Coconut Retriever) and a cat named “Sir Griffey.” In her free time, she enjoys outdoor activities that usually include her dogs, boating/water sports, and horseback riding.
