Dr. Jennifer Schwartz, DVM, with some canine friendsDr. Schwartz, our Chief of Staff, is from south central Pennsylvania. She completed her undergraduate studies at The Ohio State University and received her DVM degree from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine where she graduated with highest honors. She completed a small animal emergency/critical care internship in Waltham, MA which is when she fell in love with New England.

Dr. Schwartz’s professional interests include emergency medicine and integrative medicine. She is certified in veterinary acupuncture and medical manipulation (similar to chiropractic treatment in humans) and is actively continuing education in herbal therapy, food therapy/nutrition, tui-na (therapeutic massage), and physical rehabilitation.

These integrative modalities can achieve a better quality of life for your pets for various medical conditions – including musculoskeletal pain and arthritis, gastrointestinal disorders, endocrine dysfunction, kidney disease, geriatric care, and many other chronic or terminal diseases. But above all, she looks forward to building a trustworthy relationship with her clients and patients and wishes to continue to offer the best wellness and preventative care for a long lasting, fulfilling human-animal bond.
